The Guru Principle

Who is Guru?
A pundit who makes predictions and performs poojas?
A teacher who gives knowledge to disciples?
A planet called jupiter?

A guru is the true teacher, the higher self. Its that part of us which is timeless wisdom.
When we are ready and willing for spiritual illumination, the guru appears in a form we can relate to. A teacher, a friend, a close companion, a dream, a message, an animal, a book or simply silence. The guru teaches. But only we can learn. The guru cannot do that for us.
No matter how many gurus you have, you may not really learn unless you ALLOW the learning to happen.
This is not bookish knowledge we are talking of.
This requires application of wisdom in life and after.
This means letting go of past conditioning.
This requires focus and practice.
This means you must listen and stop talking…to others, to yourself, and listen to SILENCE.
This requires opening up to your infinite potential.
This requires dedicating yourself to finding your purpose and then to staying true to the same.
This requires character, values, principles.
This requires giving yourself to the higher self without holding on to attachments.
This is being selfless.
This requires you to serve the higher self alone.
This is surrender and receptivity.
This is liberation.
Blessed full moon.
